The best way to get a taste of the sport is to take a flight in one of the latest up to date built Microlights. This we call a “Trial Flight”.

Trial flights are normally thirty minutes or one hour. Although it is possible to customise flights to personal requests we normally have a set route that takes in some of the best local scenery.
30 minute Trial Flight
The 30 minute flight will take you to the North of Retford over the Danesmoor Wetlands Nature Reserve, West over Osberton Estate and then on to the extensive areas of Clumber, Thoresby and Rufford Parklands before returning back to Headon.
You will be welcome to bring your camera as long as it is safely secured.
1 Hour Trial Flight
The one hour flight will take you over the Parklands of Clumber and Thoresby over many interesting settlements like Cresswell and Bolsover past Chesterfield into the beautiful Peak National Park. The highlight being Chatsworth House set in its 1000 acres of parkland. We then fly down the valley to Matlock where you will see Abrahams Heights and Ryber Castle returning East now and back to Headon overflying Hardwick Hall. A flight taking in a wealth of English countryside and an opportunity to experience and fly a microlight aircraft.
FLIGHT TRAINING EXPERIENCE
For those interested in possibly learning to fly we would recommend a Flight Training Experience voucher. This includes two consecutive flights. The first flight would be from the back seat for approximately twenty minutes for you to have an experience of Microlight flying and for the flight controls to be demonstrated. We would then land, have a chat and a coffee followed by a classroom briefing in preparation for your first lesson in the front seat. All our aircraft are dual controlled and each stage of the flight will be demonstrated followed by the potential student having full control and experiencing the thrill of controlling the aircraft themselves.
A Trial Flight can also be customised to your requirements. If there is some location you would like to fly over or photograph then the flight can be arranged accordingly.

How to Book
To purchase a Trial Flight voucher you can either contact us direct or purchase online using PayPal. You can then arrange a date at your convenience to take the flight. PayPal ensures security for your payment and personal details.
On receipt of payment the voucher will be posted or emailed to you and is valid for 12 months.
