Friendly Flying Club

Microflight Aviation is a flight training centre based at Headon, near Retford, Nottinghamshire.

We use the latest generation of dual controlled Microlight aircraft piloted by an experienced Microlight Instructor.

The flying school was established in 2000 and the Airfield was improved to make it ideal for training purposes. The main runway is 500 metres and a second runway of 400 metres was added to take account of all wind directions.

Headon airfield is ideally located in clear open countryside.

In addition, we have a clubhouse for members to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee whilst socialising with other Members or just waiting for the weather to clear.  During the summer you may find a group of members enjoying a barbeque.

There is a friendly club atmosphere where everything is on offer in order for you to enjoy your flying and any training. Microflight can supply everything you need, from your flying suit to your first aircraft.
